PGS meets monthly at PSU Lincoln Recital Hall, Room 75 in the Lincoln Hall Building, 1620 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR 97201. Check the calendar below for dates and featured artists.

Meeting Location

  • PSU Lincoln Recital Hall, Room 75 in the Lincoln Hall Building, 1620 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR 97201
  • The Recital Hall is on the ground floor if you enter the building from Broadway
  • If you enter the building from the Park Blocks on Park Avenue, do not go up the stairs towards the "Performance" Hall. Instead take one of the doors to the immediate left or right and then down the stairs to the "Recital" Hall.
  • Doors to the building add the recital hall open at 6:30 pm.
  • Doors to the building are locked at 7:30 pm. If you leave the building for any reason during the meeting; you may not be able to get back in.

Parking

Street parking is available and is $3.00 per hour until 7:00 pm; plus $0.60 in fees .
  • Another option is "PSU Parking Structure 2" across the street at 1724 SW Broadway which is $5.60 for as long as you need to stay.
  • Both options can be paid for using a credit card or using the Parking Kitty app.

Meeting Etiquette

  • Please silence your cell phones and other electronic devices.
  • Do not enter or leave the room during a performance, wait for the interval between players.
  • If you must leave during a performance use the door quietly. 
  • Respect the performers and hold conversations outside the room.

Open Mic Performance Guidelines

  • Please Print your Full Name legibly and fill out your line completely on the signup sheet.
  • Generally limit your performance (including introduction, comments, and stories) to 5 minutes.  If you have a longer piece, check with MC first.
  • Performers under 16 will have priority to play during the first set.
  • Current Members will be selected to play first. Guests will be selected as time allows.  
  • CD Sales are only allowed to the Featured Performer, all revenue goes to them and they are responsible for their sales.

​Please be respectful of these guidelines so that we all may enjoy the opportunity to play!
